IMD: Severe heatwave in these states till May 1st.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that 'severe' heatwave conditions will persist in West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, and Jharkhand for the next three days. According to an official statement from the IMD, "Heatwave to severe heatwave conditions are highly likely to persist in many areas across Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, and Bihar, and in some parts of Jharkhand until May 1. Subsequently, heatwave to severe heatwave conditions are expected in isolated areas of these regions on May 2." Additionally, heatwave conditions are anticipated in isolated pockets of Rayalaseema, Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh for the next five days, in Telangana from April 29 to May 1, and in Kerala and Konkan on April 29.
